Build a simple weekly study routine
A useful study routine should fit your real week. Start with a plan you can follow and adjust it as you learn what works.
Choose a small target
Instead of writing “study everything”, choose a task such as revising one topic or practising a particular skill. A clear task makes it easier to begin.
Make room in your week
Check your work, family and travel commitments. Choose study times that are realistic and prepare the materials you need before the session.
Use the skill
After reading an explanation, try an example without looking at the answer. Explain the idea in your own words. Note any part you cannot yet explain.
Review and ask for help
At the end of the week, look at what you completed and where you struggled. Bring a specific question to your tutor or facilitator, then adjust your next plan.
