What is a short course?
A short course focuses on a particular subject or set of skills. It gives you a more focused way to learn about an area of work, rather than covering the broad range of subjects found in a full degree programme. Review the entry requirements and short course fees before completing your short course application.
Preparing for work
Explore an area that interests you and build knowledge you can discuss when applying for relevant work. A course can support your preparation, but does not guarantee employment.
Growing in your role
Strengthen skills for your current responsibilities or explore a new field. Choose a course based on the tasks you want to understand and perform better.
Supporting your business
Build knowledge that can help with planning, customers, administration or digital tools. Match your course choice to a specific need in your business.
Before applying, check the entry requirements, fees and course content. Ask Hovia to confirm the timetable, delivery option, assessment requirements and certificate details for your chosen course.
